Getting into Settings
Tap the gear in the corner of the home screen and answer the math question. The question is there to keep small fingers out, so it changes every time, and it can't be switched off. If your child plays on your phone, open Settings and tap "Lock the Screen to FunFrame" to see how iOS Guided Access keeps them inside the app.
My child's photos aren't showing up
It depends which way you added them. If you picked specific photos, open Settings and add more whenever you like. If you gave FunFrame access to your library, check iOS Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Photos, then FunFrame, and make sure it still has access.
New photos aren't appearing on their own
With full library access, new pictures show up by themselves. If you chose "Select Photos" instead, iOS only shares the ones you picked, so new photos won't appear until you update that selection in iOS Settings.
Using your iCloud Shared Albums
If FunFrame has full access to your library, open Settings and then Photo Albums. Your shared albums are listed there with your own albums, and anything you check shows up in the games. New pictures posted to a checked album arrive on their own, which is the easy way to let grandparents add to the pile.
The puzzles are too hard, or too easy
Settings lets you set the difficulty for each game separately, so the jigsaw and the matching game don't have to move together. You can also turn piece rotation on or off, and show or hide the outlines that help younger children see where a piece belongs.
Turning the sounds off
There's a sound toggle in Settings. FunFrame also respects your device's silent switch.
Does it work without internet?
Photos already stored on your device work with no connection at all. If a photo lives in iCloud and hasn't been downloaded yet, your device needs a connection to fetch it, the same as the Photos app.
Can my child delete or share our photos?
No. There is nothing in FunFrame that edits, deletes, shares, or posts anything, and no way to wander out of the app into another one. FunFrame works from its own copies, so the photos in your library are never touched.
Privacy
FunFrame doesn't collect anything about you or your child, and your photos never leave your device. The full explanation is on the privacy page.
